It was such a cool bird! And again my lenses were not good enough to take a decent pic.
But anyway, this bird was diving into the sea and staying underwater for like 10 seconds and then appearing somewhere else on the surface just for a second and diving again.

A boat scared it and it flew away.

Cats rule!

This one managed to persuade a fisherman to share.

You can actually see the fish saying “wow”

This one was gorgeous, just sitting there, all black and fat and watching the world.

I think he found my camera suspicious. At least that’s what his body language told me.

He found a motorcycle more frightening than me, thus returning to where he was and that was my final picture of him.

I had two phrases for the post. The first was: if you can’t make it, fake it. But this one sounded both nasty and far away from the original phrase. The second one was: the necessity is the mother of invention. Not only did it sound boring, it also wasn’t right for the post. I didn’t invent anything here.
Anyway, what I was going to say is that I don’t have the right lenses. So I have to create pictures like that

There are types of photos I love taking over and over again, just because I know it will work.
Taking pictures at a grass level always works for me. The world looks different.

Shutter speed.

We’ve created this photo while waiting outside a church in Budva, Montenegro. The shutter speed was set to 8 seconds. So we stood still for the first 5 of those and then started walking towards one another.
I didn’t really like those guys on the background, but Dima told they were fine. He thought that way we looked even more like ghosts.

Black and white sea.

I guess, that’s how living near the sea changes you. One moment you stop thinking that the blue color of the sea is sacred and can’t be changed into black and white. The same thing can happen to the mountains too. Well, I still see them in color, but love these pics in black and white more.

I guess in lives of all photographers there comes a moment when they no longer care about cleaning brushes, safety filters or whatever other equipment made for them to spend money on in order to believe- once they start using the stuff they are safe, their cameras are safe.

If your camera is safe, man, you are not doing a great job, I guess. Well, as a photographer anyway.

So, great or not great but just simply mediocre, here comes my work for today. The results of my white trousers covered in sea water and weed,the results of the photo lenses totally covered in salt.
I’ll just wipe it away and we’ll see who’s the winner!

Hunting for models

So, as I was saying in one of my previous posts, I’m badly lacking models here. Today this absolutely crazy sunset made me commit my photographer’s crime. I photo hunted people who were hypnotised by the evening colors and didn’t know they were being shot.
